Old Fashioned
In our humble opinion the best Old Fashioned Around. Made with Evan Williams Black (or your choice of Whisky) , Angostura Bitters and an Orange Peel. Our Flagship cocktail
Manhattan
A Manhattan how it is supposed to be made. Rittenhouse 100 Rye, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura & Orange Bitters and a Luxardo Cherry.
French 76 Martini
Our take on a classic. Grey Goose, Lemon, Passion Fruit, Sparkling Wine and a Lemon Peel.
Cold Brew Martini
We partnered with local Coffee Roaster Coroco to make an unparalleled experience. Kettle One Vodka, Kaluha, Coroco Cold Brew and Espresso Beans.
The Lewis Sidecar-
AKA- Disco Inferno
One of our Signature Cocktails. Hennessy, Grand Marnier, Peach, Lemon and a Flamed Orange. A must try at the Lewis
Phil Collins
We took a Tom Collins and stepped it up to a Phil Collins. Empress Gin, Elderflower Liquor, Lemon and a Lemon Wheel for a garnish.
James K. Lewis
St. Charles First Mayor-1875
James K. Lewis was born in Ononadga County, New York on June 23, 1822. He graduated from the Geneva Medical College of New York in 1846, and married Louise Ferguson in 1847. Two children, Genevieve (Jenny) and John, were born before the Lewis family moved to St Charles in 1852
Dr. Lewis not only served as a physician in St. Charles, but also held the office of Mayor of the city from 1875-77 and again from 1879-81. During his terms as mayor, Lewis banned nude bathing in the Fox River during daylight hours (nighttime hours still allowed thank god). Dr. Lewis' daughter, Jenny Lewis, was the librarian at the first St. Charles Library
